WITH GOD...WE DID IT ONCE AGAIN!

It has certainly been an honor these past few weeks leading with you guys! What an encouragement it is to see and hear God move through our voices and instruments! I have to tell you that I'm learning more and more each day what it's about to enjoy and savor Him, and He's using you guys to teach that truth. I came across a very interesting and encouraging reading the other day and wanted to share it with you. I found 9 goals in which I'd personally like to strive in order to gain a unified pursuit of worship, and I encourage you to check these out as well:

Goals That Unite Us in Worship

  1. God-centeredness
  2. Expecting the powerful presence of God
  3. Bible-based and Bible-saturated
  4. Head and heart
  5. Earnestness and intensity
  6. Authentic communication
  7. The manifestation of God and the common good
  8. Undistracting excellence
  9. The mingling of historic and contemporary music

    The blog is great...I'm glad to hear ya'll had a great day of worship yesterday! In the order of worship that's posted, I'm seeing all sorts of odd phrases..is it just me, or some sort of error code? It makes it very hard to read.

    hey Lisa,

    It probably is some error code. I cannot see them from either of my computers. However...I know how things get be seen differently depending on what fonts your computer has available. I'll try to look into this and see what I can do. Thanks for the head's up.
